TLA Consulting is looking for a Legal Officer to work directly with domestic and FDI corporate clients: reviewing contracts, preparing corporate filings and tracking recurring compliance obligations. The role suits someone who wants substantive advisory work rather than administrative paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review commercial contracts, employment contracts and internal client documents
- Prepare incorporation files, changes to enterprise registration and related licensing procedures
- Track each client's recurring compliance calendar and flag legal risk early
- Research legal provisions and prepare advisory memoranda for the supervising lawyer
- Support M&A transactions and restructuring projects alongside the specialist team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- At least 1 year of experience at a law firm, advisory firm or in-house legal department
- Rigorous drafting skills and the ability to present an issue clearly in Vietnamese
- Able to read legal materials in English; working proficiency is an advantage
- Attention to detail and the initiative to follow a matter through to its outcome
